It’s still kind of weird to think that the Chicago Cubs were able to take down the St. Louis Cardinals in the playoffs in such convincing fashion, but on Tuesday night, Chicago locked up its NLDS series with a 6-4 win over its NL Central rivals. It marked the first time ever that the Cubs locked up a postseason series at Wrigley Field, and it is the first series won by the Cubs since 2003.
Understandably, Cubs fans and players were happy beyond belief with Tuesday’s big win.
I'm freaking out guys. @cubs

Even America’s most famous White Sox fan – Barack Obama – decided to express his support for Chicago’s other team.
Congrats @Cubs – even @whitesox fans are rooting for you!

Then, there is the other side – the reaction from the Best Fans In Baseball™. St. Louis Cardinals fans were as angry as you would expect, with them telling Cubs fans to count the rings.
Hey Cubs fans, kiss the rings #11timeChamps
— Jacob Stinson (@jacobstinson15) October 13, 2015
Congrats to the cubs. You need a win after almost a decade out of the playoffs. We'll rest easy on these 11 rings.
— J Jones (@AverageJones) October 13, 2015
Can't be mad. Cubs are a dangerous team this season. Hats off to them. *Cardinals shake hands with a fist full of rings.* #12in2016

We can’t post some of the other things that Cardinals fans said on Twitter, but if you’re interested, head over to @BestFansStLouis or @FanSince09, but be warned: it’s kind of terrifying.
Let’s end this with some positivity with the best tweet of the night, courtesy of View From The Bleachers.
Not sure what a Met or a Dodger tastes like, but probably not near as tasty as a Cardinal. #Cubs #WeAreGood

The Cubs have some time off between now and Game 1 of the NLCS, which will take place on October 17.
