Former Heavyweight Champ David Haye Returned To The Ring And Knocked A Guy Out Cold

David Haye hasn’t been heard from in quite some time. The British boxer last fought in July of 2012, a TKO in the fifth round against Dereck Chisora for the WBO International Heavyweight title. And then he disappeared. There was supposed be a fight against Manuel Charr in 2013 but that fell apart. Rumors of a problem with his trainer emerged in 2014. Nobobdy thought Haye would ever return and make an impact.

On Saturday night, Haye proved some of his doubters wrong with a vicious first round knockout of Australian Mark De Mori. Now to be fair, de Mori isn’t a Klitscho brother or anything but he is #10 in the WBA rankings. He’s no slouch. But man, Haye certainly made him look like one here.
