Donald Sterling Has Also Been Banned For Life By Nevada’s Bunny Ranch

Despite the fact that NBA Commissioner Adam “Big Daddy” Silver has banned Donald Sterling for life and claims that he has more than enough support from the league’s other owners to force a sale, the Los Angeles Clippers owner has said that he is not selling his team. But being booted by the league that he has been a (controversial) part of since 1981 was apparently just the first offense in a much wider attack on Sterling for his racist comments to his mistress, V. Stiviano. As it turns out, Sterling has also received a lifetime ban from the Bunny Ranch brothel in Nevada, “out of respect to” the NBA players that go there to party.

Bunny Ranch owner Dennis Hof told the Huffington Post that there’s simply no place at his establishment for a guy like Sterling, as he has also previously banned the stars of Duck Dynasty for being “the biggest homophobic assholes” and making a living off of killing animals. Whether or not these people actually visit the Bunny Ranch is another story, but this is all about the overall meaning of the gesture.

“I can tell you this: Johnny Buss, one of the owners of the Los Angeles Lakers, and I have had a dual birthday party at the Bunny Ranch for the last 18 years, so a lot of NBA people have been here,” he said.

Hof’s stand against Sterling isn’t only in support of the basketball players who’ve had to deal with the billionaire’s alleged racism over the years.

“At any given time, 20 to 23 percent of the prostitutes here are African-American,” Hof said. “And they’re smoking hot. Some of them were crying this morning so we’re doing this for them as well. We don’t need racists or bigots at the Bunny Ranch.” (Via the Huffington Post)

On the other hand, Hof says that Stiviano is welcome at the Bunny Ranch any time, because, in his words, “She needs to meet some women who can satisfy her more than any man could.” You know, there are some people that claim marketing is a lost art, but those people have clearly never met Dennis Hof.
