You know that feeling you get when you reach your hands into a winter coat you haven’t worn in months and you find a $20 dollar bill? It’s amazing, right? You are going to treat yourself to a sweet lunch with this found money.

Now, imagine instead of finding $20, you find $138,000 you forgot about. That’s what happened to Atlanta Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon.

There aren’t any details, but I’ll guess his maid found that $138,000 check underneath some gold bars he had resting on the floor of his diamond-encrusted safe. When his maid handed him the check, Weatherspoon said, “That’s rich!” and laughed for an uncomfortably long period of time before the maid joined in laughing despite the fact she didn’t see what was so funny.

If your first question was, “Why wouldn’t he have direct deposit?” he has that covered.

If one takes a found $20 and buys a bottle of wine, what does someone who finds $138,000 purchase? Here are some suggestions for Sean:

— 46,000 bags of Sour Patch Kids

— 15,594,000 gems in Angry Birds 2

— 9,000 large pizzas

— an average home in an average city in 1988

Or, and I’m just throwing this out there for Sean, maybe give it to someone that just spent five minutes trying to find the average cost of a home in 1988 for a joke that rates a 5 of 10 at best. Feel sorry for him and dump it into his PayPal. Thanks, Sean.
