This video from Raw Vegas — which sounds a lot dirtier than it really is, I promise — follows around world-class poker player Erick Lindgren on a prop bet with other poker pros. Lindgren and Gavin Smith had a $100,000 "disagreement" when Lindgren said he could shoot 72 holes of golf in a day — while walking the course carrying his bag — in 100-degree heat, and shoot under 100 in each of the four rounds. By the time Lindgren finished talking to his "friends," he had $340,000 on the line.
If this sounds familiar, the exceptionally shitty poker movie Lucky You had a similar scene (I think so: I only ever read the script, thank God) which was based on a prop bet performed by Huck Seed. But yeah: 20 miles of walking with a bag of clubs in the Nevada summer is not something Phil Mickelson or John Daly could do. And Michelle Wie started crying just thinking about it.
