The ‘It Me’ Podcast: Are The Warriors Making This NBA Season Too Boring?

Unless you’re a Signing Day nut, there’s not a lot going on in college football. And we aren’t your Signing Day experts, as much as we want to be. (Although in another life, sure, ‘crootin was our bread and butter.) We’ll let you go elsewhere to get that discussion, but we did want to make everyone aware that you don’t have to sit at home and be miserable while you wait for college football to come back. There are other sports, too!

And one of those sports Martin and Robby really enjoy is the NBA. Rather than force you to listen to us drone on and on, we brought in someone who knows way more than we do, and that’s Tim Bontemps from The Washington Post.

We talk all sorts of things this week, including:

  • Transitioning from a beat writer to a national writer
  • Can anyone stop the Warriors in the West?
  • Are the Warriors compelling enough, or are they making this season boring?
  • Is Martin damaged, flawed, and altogether a bad person for feeling numb when he watches Golden State?
  • Can the Cavs be fixed this season?
  • #LeaguePass teams and stories to watch if you’re a casual fan or someone trying to join the fun midseason
  • Travel Tips from a guy who is on the road way too much
  • Tim gives his Heisman and College Football Playoff predictions for the heck of it

As always, comments and tweets are always welcome. Subscribe to us on iTunes, too! You can find Robby at (@rkalland) and Martin at (@martinrickman), and Tim’s at (@TimBontemps). Football is great and so are friends, but football is always better with friends.

Special thanks to the band Annabel for our intro and outro music. They’re really good. You should buy their music at their website or perhaps see them play a show some time.
