This Guy Recreated A Selena Gomez Music Video Shot-For-Shot After Losing His Fantasy Football League

The best fantasy-football leagues are ones which require the last-place participant to do something ridiculous after the season. I’ve previously heard of losers having to do an embarrassing photoshoot for a 12-month calendar, or take the SATs while drunk and wearing a suit.

This guy, though…this guy had to recreate Selena Gomez’s “Good For You” music video. Shot-for-shot.

The unfortunate soul, Daniel, agreed to the punishment back in August thanks to an official, binding contract that was drafted up by one of the league’s members who is currently attending law school. The song was decided on by members of his league who made the playoffs. The video was filmed by his roommate.

The result is hilarious and, admittedly, pretty well done. It also helps shine a light on how ridiculous this music video actually is, unless you’re someone whose life consists of rolling around on floors and furniture 98 percent of the time.

To his credit, Daniel does a great job of keeping a straight face throughout, even though his extremely rosy pigmentation may indicate that this whole ordeal was a bit humiliating. I’d like to see how red he gets when he finds out he’s going viral.

Tough break, but a last-place loser gets what a last-place loser deserves. Methinks someone will draft their team a bit more carefully next season.
