This couple was apparently vacationing in Outer Banks, N.C., and thought it would be a grand idea to craft homemade shark cages to take into the ocean with them. To be fair, there were six shark attacks earlier this month in a span of three weeks along the Carolina coast. Not to mention, there was the terrifying shark attack last Sunday captured on live television at the J-Bay Open in South Africa. In honor of Shark Week, we put together this lovely compilation of shark attacks.
But this couple obviously went a little over the top. My fear is that they actually think those flimsy things will protect them in the event of a shark attack.
