The St. Louis Rams aren’t going to make the playoffs this year, but apparently they still get to hang out with famous rappers after a win. None other than Jay Z stopped by the St. Louis locker room after they beat the Lions, 21-14, in St. Louis on Sunday.

J-HOVA seemed to enjoy his visit well enough — the Rams certainly did, with nearly every player recording his appearance on their phones — posing for pictures with the star-struck NFL players; he even broke down the team’s post-game huddle.

As for why he was even there in the first place, it may have something to do with the fact that Rams’ rookie running back Todd Gurley signed with Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports agency last January (at least I hope that’s why he was there, because there is no other reason to attend a Rams-Lions game in the middle of December). Gurley seemed to respond well to the presence of the 21-time Grammy-winner in the stadium, running for 140 yards and two scores in the victory.

Let this be the first recommendation for Jay Z to replace Jeff Fisher as the Rams’ coach next season. We’re probably not the first ones to suggest this sort of switch, either. Jay is an entrepreneur.
