Watch This Joe Flacco ‘Football Party’ Go From Painfully Boring To Elite

You may spend plenty of time debating whether or not Ravens signal caller Joe Flacco is an elite quarterback. Now, you can debate whether or not he’s good in commercials, because Flacco appears in a new commercial for Pepsi and Tostitos about throwing the ultimate football party that’s kind of weird.

According to the story arc of the commercial, Flacco sucks at throwing parties, so he got some help from a pair of party experts, who gave him things like soda and chips. Flacco then proceeds to do a lot of silly quarterback things like making someone hike him a bag of Tostitos that fell on the floor and putting his elbow into the bucket of ice that he is stashing cans and bottles in to make them cold.

Right as things were going off the deep end, the experts stepped in and showed Flacco the tape of how bad of a job he was doing, which then led to him making adjustments and doing a much better job. It ends with Flacco making a lot of football jokes – sadly, none of them involving the word “elite” – and his party being a success. Sure, it was a party where the host kept doing weird stuff and had to leave half way through to go learn how to throw a party, and I don’t think there was any booze or food other than tortilla chips, but other than that, it looked like a good time.
