College Gameday mainstays Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk a bit about the upcoming College Football Playoff on ESPN and, since it is prank week, the topic of Herb’s freakout came up. Kimmel showed the zombie surprise from ESPN, including some fine slow motion work that really captured Herbstreit’s high pitched squeal. If you missed it, relive the glorious scene here.
So to be fair, the folks at Kimmel provided Herbstreit a chance to get a little revenge on Chris Fowler for his scary prank. It’s especially nice because Fowler claimed he couldn’t be scared, which is found to be total crap once you see his face. He couldn’t handle the tiny zombie, letting out some nasty language in the process. Fowler addressed it on Twitter, noting that the duo got him good:

It’s still not worse than Herbstreit’s freakout, but it is a nice way to get back at the guy. Now all we need is for this little prank war to continue into New Year’s Eve and have Fowler spike Herbstreit’s coffee with booze. Make it an interesting game.
