With Leather’s Watch This: The Boston Cello Quartet Played ‘Enter Sandman’ For Mariano Rivera

The Mariano Rivera “Thanks For Kicking Our Asses In The 9th Inning” Farewell Tour continued at Fenway last night, as the Boston Cello Quartet paid tribute to the iconic closer with a string version of his theme song, Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.” Rivera certainly seems like one of baseball’s last true gentleman players, so I hold out hope that we never have to hear about some book that exposes him as a puppy murderer and/or endangered species molester.

More than anything, I’d like for Rivera to play one more season so he has to go around returning all of the gifts that teams have been giving him.

MLB: Cubs at Brewers – 8 PM ET on WGN

Ladies and gentlemen, the most meaningless game of the year!

Monday Night Football: Steelers at Bengals – 8:25 PM ET on ESPN

Can Antonio Brown get me 55 points tonight? I don’t think that’s too much to ask, so I look forward to celebrating that feat.

WWE Monday Night Raw – 8 PM ET on USA

Will Randy Orton remain the face of the WWE? I have no clue. You all watch it, so you should know better than I do anyway. I can’t even watch because I’ll be performing my new exercise routine.
