If you’re tired of the absurd Super Bowl XLIX hot takes and bullsh*t opinions being spewed forth by every bored and stereotypical sports columnist from coast-to-coast this week, tomorrow night’s Conan is going to be a bowl of fresh Skittles. Patriots party bro Rob Gronkowski and eternally-fined Seahawks shy guy Marshawn Lynch will face off in a battle of Mortal Kombat X for Conan O’Brien’s “Clueless Gamer” sketch, and based on this preview alone, it’s going to be the best Super Bowl-related thing to happen this week.
TNT already stabbed a jagged dagger into our hearts by canceling Franklin and Bash last year, so TBS needs to make it up to us by introducing a new series called Gronk and Beastmode. There’s not even a plot, they just hang out and talk to random guests. It would be the highest-rated series in the history of series I just made up.
