While Jimmy Kimmel generally saves his mean tweets for celebrities, he whipped up a special edition for tonight’s College Football Championship Game. This isn’t the first time some of these folks have read a mean tweet, but it’s always fun to see Brady Hoke’s reaction to these things.

Those were pretty bad, but the Brady Hoke one got a chuckle.
It’s a pretty well-known fact Kirk Herbstreit truly is the biggest ass clown anybody has ever seen.
Time and place for everything. This Kümmel stunt, mean tweets and profanity laced comments at 7:30 PM on national tv is out of place and not at all funny.
I was not aware time of day impacted humor.
(Not that these were that great..epspecially compared to previous ones)
@whale…agree on both posts. This was a weak one with the exception of Scott Van Pelt.
Yeah, we don’t want kids hearing that *bleep* noise as they get ready to watch world class athletes destroy each others brains & bones while running into each other at speeds that rival a baby cheetah.
I wonder what my day would be like if I was offended by everything that ever happened.
The reaction to the Crank Yankers comment is easily the best.
I enjoyed the Brian Kelly and Jesse Palmer tweets. They were spot on.
Ugh. This was horrible. I kept thinking there was a punchline coming but it just stopped dead. “Jesse Palmer. Idiot.” HAHAHAHA, excuse me while I pick up my sides! So funny!
Whatever writer Kimmel has coming up with these is scraping the bottom of the barrel now.
The previous Brady Hoke tweet from Gameday was better:

Meh.
I enjoy this bit every time, particularly when the celebs think it’s funny. Kudrow at the end cracked me up.
This was … not funny.
Kimmel starts the segment by explaining how The Decemberists write “interesting, very intelligent songs about uncommon subjects,” and then jokes they’re working on an album centered around YouTube.
