Check Out These Photos Of Minute Maid Park In Houston Flooding During An Astros Game

As far as weather goes, El Niño is being kind of a jerk right now. Texas and other parts of the Southern United States have been drenched in heavy rainfall over the past month or so, causing massive flooding in some areas. That flooding continued on a more concentrated scale on Saturday in Houston during the Astros-Chicago White Sox game. As you can see from the photos and Vines below, Minute Maid Park had drainage and flooding issues even though the roof was closed for the game. That’s how bad things were.

The Astros won 3-0, but that hardly seems important compared to the conditions Houston has faced recently. According to the Astros’ Twitter feed, Sunday’s game between Houston and Chicago is scheduled as planned.
