The Swedish UFC star has been training as Swedish UFC stars are wont to do and that includes the also bit of recording of what you’ve been up to. Today, Gustafsson (or The Mauler if you’re nasty/marketing-y) shared a video of a spinning kick that hit the mark a little to well during practice. Coach Andreas Michael received a kick RIGHT TO HIS INNOCENT CHIN while sparring. Ever the pro and tough gentleman, Michael no-sells his client’s kick and encourages Gustafsson to get back to the sparring session. There’s bonus slo-mo to the visual evidence too if you’d like to see some accidental kicking at a more relaxed pace.

Gustafsson is currently in the process of focusing on UFC vet Glover Teixeira (and his chin) with their headlining Fight Night tilt set to take place in Stockholm on May 28. Regardless of strategy or the quality of Gustafsson’s kicks, Teixeira’s dentist may be busy after the fight.
