Just a few days ago, word broke that Muhammad Ali would be rooting for Manny Pacquiao in his superfight against Floyd Mayweather. It made sense, being that Manny and Ali have struck up a friendship, and Floyd isn’t the friendliest person in the world. Well, it turns out that despite what his daughter Rasheda said, the G.O.A.T. doesn’t have a dog in this fight.

It makes sense that Ali is simply respecting the fighters. He’s been between the ropes many times himself, and he understands the struggles that go with it. Chances are, he just wants to see all this hype culminate into a great fight.
Looking forward to @FloydMayweather vs. @MannyPacquiao & wishing both the best of luck. Rumble, young men, rumble! #AliTweet
