It was close game between No. 3 Notre Dame and No. 14 Northeastern from start to finish, and in the end the overwhelming underdogs had a chance to tie or take the lead. The Irish botched an inbounds pass, giving Northeastern possession with 28 seconds left. And with those 28 seconds, they managed to get off exactly ZERO shot attempts. So of course we had to set the above video to Yakety Sax.

This is the opposite of the buzzer-beater. This will not be seen in the “One Shining Moment” montage.

Next up for Notre Dame is the winner of Butler vs. Texas.
