Well, well, look at what we have here. This Oakland A’s ball boy isn’t about keeping his jersey clean as much as he is about putting his body on the line for a foul ball. I tell you, this kid has grit and gets after it. He probably stays late after practice working on these types of situations, and wouldn’t you know, it paid off for him. That’s how you gain the respect of a dugout and a fan base. Just a blue-collar kid in a blue-collar city making plays, but acting like he’s been there before.
Too bad the rest of the team didn’t follow his lead, as the A’s lost to the Rays 5-4.
