Bills Head Coach Rex Ryan Stumps For Donald Trump In Buffalo

Donald Trump made a pit stop in Western New York today, just one day before the massive New York primary in which 95 delegates are up for grabs. Needless to say, this is a huge primary for all three remaining Republican candidates, and Trump decided to bust out the big guns in his attempt to lure voters from the western part of the Empire State.

Before Trump came out to address the raucous crowd in Buffalo, he was introduced by Bills head coach Rex Ryan. The speech by the Ryan was pretty standard, but he did tell a story about Trump during his time as the owner of the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League which involves Trump basically calling a play from the owner’s box.

Once Ryan left the stage, Trump decided to follow normal procedure and say a few nice things about the person who just introduced him. The issue was that Trump said this:

Because you know literally anything about football, you know that Ryan has won as many NFL championships in New York as Trump. Between this and his weird statement about Joe Paterno from last week, maybe it would be wise for Trump to stop talking about football for a while before he says something crazier than “the guy who coached the Jets and the Bills won championships in New York,” if that’s possible.
