Is 2016 The Year Of Ronda Rousey’s Epic Comeback?

2015 was a year of wonderful moments for Ronda Rousey. She KO’d Bethe Correia and Cat Zingano in 48 seconds cumulatively, she starred in a Carl’s Jr. ad and a Furious movie, and she got her own porn parody. It was a year of high notes, right up until her shocking loss to Holly Holm in November. After long being built up as the undefeated champion, Rousey saw her first upset (even her sister couldn’t rewatch the fight). She pretty much went into hiding after that, though she did make a few appearance on social media. She was also part of SI’s “leaked” body paint photos) at the beginning of the year.

But back to Rousey the fighter, the woman who could very well make 2016 her comeback year. On the MMA front, a Rousey-Holm rematch is a guarantee. Knowing how much she hates “do nothing b*tches, we can assume that she won’t be back until she’s confident she can kick Holm to the curb. It’ll be just like Rocky 3, which is a shame because if it were Rocky 4 we’d have a robot in there somewhere as well. It’s just a matter of when it’s going to happen. It’s set for July of this year, but that might not work out if Rousey’s other career gets in the way.

See, 2016 is also the year of Rousey becoming more of a movie and TV star. She’s the first MMA fighter to host SNL, she’ll be the new Patrick Swayze in the Road House remake, and she’ll be starring in the movie adaptation of her best-selling autobiography.

Plus, she’s got a very strange lawsuit, filled with penises and sex tapes, to answer for this year. Everything’s coming up Rousey in 2016.
