These 20 Ronda Rousey GIFs Will Help You Fully Appreciate Her Greatness

It’s a bit strange when you think about it — Ronda Rousey is the most dominant fighter in the history of mixed martial arts, yet almost all we hear about is the things she says. So, in the interest of switching the attention back a little into the visual area of things, we’ve decided to dig up the very best Ronda Rousey GIFs so her actions can speak louder than words.

Let’s start out with Ronda’s last fight with Bethe Correia.

To say things got heated would be an understatement.

That only motivated Ronda Rousey more, and she knocked Correia out in 34 seconds.

Faceplant right over the Straight Outta Compton ad. Fitting.

Don’t cry, Bethe.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Ronda Rousey GIF party without a bunch of armbars. Above, she takes out Liz Carmouche in her first UFC title defense.

And here she is breaking Julia Budd’s arm backwards — Budd had the unfortunate luck to fight Ronda after Ronda’s last opponent claimed she never tapped.

Here’s that improvised reverse armbar against Cat Zingano.

And Miesha Tate’s second taste of Rousey’s armbar skills from their rematch.

This GIF from Ronda’s defeat of Alexis Davis has been touched up slightly. Slightly.

Ronda’s been doing a lot of cool stuff lately. Like showing up and kicking ass alongside The Rock at WrestleMania.

There were lots of charming late night TV appearances with people like Jimmy Kimmel.

And she won her second ESPY Female Athlete of the Year award in a row, as well as Fighter of the Year.

And she was in the Sports Illustrated 2015 Swimsuit Edition.

If anyone can be said to be Ronda Rousey’s nemesis, it’d be Miesha Tate.

The two have fought twice before, and both times it was the total opposite of a love fest between them.

The second fight was preceded by an entire season of The Ultimate Fighter with Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate as coaches. As you can see, Ronda used the time together to share a few hand gestures with her best friend.

Just another middle finger for Miesha from Ronda.

Miesha Tate has done better than any other fighter against Ronda, making it into the third round during their second fight. That didn’t stop Ronda from breaking her arm backwards in their first fight and catching her with another armbar in the second.

The end of their fights didn’t end their rivalry, either. Perhaps the future holds a Rousey-Tate III.
