This Rugby Player Was Laid Out So Hard, He Doesn’t Remember Playing In The Game

During a rugby match in South Africa on Saturday, Lions wing Mark Richards was laid out so hard from a hit that he had no recollection of the game afterwards.

During the play, Richards was attempting a tackle on Sharks player Willem Alberts, but with Alberts outweighing Richards by more than 100 pounds, he clearly stood no chance. The full-speed collision left Richards lying on the ground for several minutes with what was later determined a concussion. He was carted off the field as a result.

After the game, Lions spokesperson Tarryn Steenekamp gave an update on his condition.

“Mark is fine, he has a slight concussion, but he doesn’t remember anything of the game.”

Sorry, but wouldn’t having no recollection of the game he just played in be an indication he’s not fine?
