Shaquille O’Neal Will Dress As A Cheerleader If The Dallas Cowboys Miss The Playoffs

As it turns out, Shaquille O’Neal is a big Dallas Cowboys fan. Shaq is so confident in his squad that he’s willing to make two guarantees regarding the team. The first one isn’t too crazy – he thinks Dallas will win one of the team’s next two games without starting quarterback Tony Romo. With matchups against Philadelphia and Tampa Bay, it’s certainly not unrealistic to imagine the Cowboys going 1-1 over those two games.

The second promise is a bit more…optimistic. O’Neal thinks that Dallas is going to make the playoffs this year. Currently, the Cowboys are 2-5, and the second half of their schedule features games against some pretty good teams – namely Carolina and Green Bay. Most years that would seem like an impossible task for Dallas, but considering that the team will get its starting quarterback back soon – going from Matt Cassel or Brandon Weeden to Romo is a gigantic upgrade – and the NFC East is awful this year, maybe it’s not the most wild prediction in the world.

In fact, Shaq is so confident that he’s willing to put his pride on the line. According to O’Neal, if Dallas misses out on the playoffs, he will go onto Rich Eisen’s show for 10 seconds dressed like a Cowboys cheerleader. He reassures Eisen that he will do it, but stressed that he won’t be on camera for more than 10 seconds.

Eisen decided to get in on the deal, saying that he will join Shaq if Dallas misses out on the playoffs. At the very least, give O’Neal and Eisen credit – they seem way more confident in the Cowboys going to the postseason than most people.
