A Taste Of What To Expect On This Year’s Skateboarding Street League Tour

If you caught the progression of the 2015 Street League Super Crown Championship, you now know that the return of this circuit is not to be missed. Still in its infancy as far as skateboard history goes, Street League has successfully created a forum for the world’s best skateboarders to showcase new innovative tricks and proper execution of the old classics. In short: sh*t’s cool to watch.

In the last couple of years, Street League has extended its mentality of “innovation and execution.” To score highly, skaters have to respect the past while pushing into the frontier. That mindset has led to success, which has led to growth. This year the 22nd annual Tampa Pro will be part of the Street League‘s fifth season.

Last year, at the Tampa Pro, Kelvin Hoefler and Felipe Gustavo earned their place among the other 27 pros invited onto the Street League World Tour. Luan Oliveira may have won that event but Hoefler went on to win the Super Crown Championship in Chicago during his rookie season. And it all started in Tampa. So, for those not fortunate enough to be in Tampa this weekend, tune in and watch skateboarding history go down.
