I can see the look on your face. You’re excited about the Super Bowl. And why shouldn’t you be? There are 50 Super Bowls now, and this one is just as fun as all the others, as Cam Newton and Peyton Manning face off in San Francisco, or Santa Clara, or whatever part of California the 49ers actually play.

To celebrate, we’re bringing in two really fun people, Ben Swanson of DenverBroncos.com and Jonathan Jones from the Charlotte Observer to talk about their fun times covering the two teams playing in the game to end all games (before we start a another season and play more games).

This week we discuss:

  • Geography
  • Dippin Dots and eating food in the future
  • Von Miller calling Peyton Manning ‘Papa John’
  • Demaryius Thomas and his friendship with Jimmy Butler
  • Cam Newton and his cultural impact
  • Balancing doing your job and worrying about your brand at the Super Bowl
  • Josh Norman being weird and great
  • And so much more!

As always, comments and tweets are always welcome. Subscribe to us on iTunes, too! You can find Robby at (@rkalland) and Martin at (@martinrickman), Ben is at (@cardboardgerald), and Jonathan is at (jjones9). Football is great and so are friends, but football is always better with friends.

Special thanks to the band Annabel for our intro and outro music. They’re really good. You should buy their music at their website or perhaps see them play a show some time.
