Watch This Boxer Walk To The Wrong Corner After A Particularly Brutal Round

What’s next for Terence Crawford? More specifically, who’s next?

The WBO junior welterweight champ defended his belt in impressive fashion Saturday night, defeating Dierry Jean in the 10th round with a TKO The victory moved Crawford to 27-0, and more importantly, may have moved closer to a bout with Manny Pacquiao.

Crawford was so impressive and so vicious with his blows that Dierry Jean actually walked to the wrong corner after a brutal exchange to end the 4th round.

On the one hand, yes, that’s impressive work from Crawford and ultimately makes for an entertaining bout.
On the other hand, man, boxing takes a toll on your brain. Jean clearly had no idea what was going on there for a few seconds.

Thankfully, the ref stepped in during the 10th round before it got any worse (and it could have).

After the bout, Crawford talked about a potential bout with the aforementioned Manny Pacquiao, a fight many believe will be Pacman’s last.

“I’m ready. Bob, make it happen,” he told Arum in the ring after the fight during an interview with HBO. “I’m ready. I’m gonna let my handlers, (co-managers) Cameron Dunkin and Brian McIntyre, talk to Bob Arum and Team Pacquiao, and let’s see if we can make it happen.”

Still feel like Pacman will go for a bigger name, which is kind of unfortunate. A bout with Crawford wouldn’t draw huge numbers but would be fun as hell to watch. As always, boxing these days isn’t about what’s great for viewers but rather what’s great for the box office.
