Louis Gossett Jr, who older readers may remember as the guy from Iron Eagle or as a second-rate R. Lee Ermey in An Officer and a Gentleman, allegedly owes the Lakers somewhere in the neighborhood of $40,000 for because he never paid for premium seats at Staples Center in 2003 (extra-boring .pdf file of the complaint here).
A contract attached to the lawsuit states Gossett signed the deal in October 2003 and it entitled him to attend Lakers, Kings, Clippers, Sparks and Avengers regular season games. The agreement also covered Lakers, Kings and Sparks playoff games, according to the contract.
Well, no chance the Lakers win this one. You can't make people pay to go to WNBA games. That's criminally fraudulent.
