The Mountain From ‘Game Of Thrones’ Broke Records To Become Europe’s Strongest Man

While the rest of the Game of Thrones team was hanging out in Belfast, dying in Sharknado attacks, and not getting picked up in a club, Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson, better known as horse-head-remover Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane, became Europe’s Strongest Man. Again. He is the Ronda Rousey of modern-day Vikings, whose heads he would smash like, well, y’know.

The muscly giant pulled 991 pounds on the deadlift, a personal best, before he picked up what appears to be the world’s heaviest bag of leaves and a tire. Oh, and don’t forget that time the Mountain lifted an entire car, which probably weighs a little bit more than Cersei Lannister.

To all the Europeans who lost to Björnsson: SHAME *rings bell* SHAME.
