Nothing warms a mother’s heart like hearing the announcement of their son’s engagement. On Valentine’s Day, Dallas Stars players Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn prank called their mothers and told them about a fake engagement. Their mothers damn near had a heart attack during the call. With Mother’s Day right around the corner, Jackie Benn and Heather Seguin exacted revenge on their sons.
Jackie and Heather tell their sons that they were accepted into a sports management program at a college near their sons. The program lasts 12 months, so the mothers ask to move in with their sons. It’s an awkward proposition for any guy in their 20s, nevertheless a professional athlete.
Not only do the mothers ask to move in, they also try to convince their sons to let their mothers be their agents. This is where the prank nearly falls apart. Jaime really isn’t buying it, but Tyler sounds beyond confused about the situation. Needless to say, it was fun retribution for the moms.
