The UFC Is Casting For A New ‘Octagon Girl’ Reality Competition Show

Just because The Ultimate Fighter may be winding down doesn’t mean the UFC doesn’t have other reality show plans up its sleeves. Following news that new owners WME-IMG may pull the plug on the longstanding UFC reality show, a notice popped up on The Ultimate Fighter producer Pilgrim Media Group’s webpage casting for Octagon Girls in a new series.

The producers of The Ultimate Fighter are seeking models from Southern California for an opportunity to become the UFC’s newest ring girls (aka “Octagon Girls”) and appear in a presentation for their own unscripted series on the POP TV Network.

On this brand new show, each of our selected models will join the ranks of the prestigious Octagon Girls and travel to UFC events throughout the world. The series will document their work with the UFC, as well as their lives on the road and back home in Southern California.

If you happen to be 21, live in Southern California, and have never appeared in pornographic material, you could be the next Ultimate Octagon Girl! This will hardly be the first time the UFC has used competitions to find themselves new ring girls. Former Octagon Girl Natasha Wicks won a Las Vegas swimsuit contest at Hooters to get into the company. And The Ultimate Fighter Brazil had its own separate mini-competition for local Octagon Girls.

But this seems like something completely new and different. Will head Octo-girl Arianny Celeste be taking contestants under her wing and subjecting them to grueling training and mind games like in America’s Next Top Model? We’ll have to wait and see, and even then you’ll only see if you’ve got a cable package extensive enough to pull in the Pop channel. But if they manage to bottle some of that Total Divasstyle magic like the WWE has, we’ll make sure to let you know.
