Spencer Hall is in Las Vegas for the first four days of March Madness, and like any good Southerner one of his first stops was the indoor gun range, where he used his marksmanship to make his tourney picks. Not like any good Southerner, his marksmanship picked Belmont and Portland State to get into the second round. Maybe he should have used a weaver stance instead of that isosceles.
I did something like this once, except instead of filling out a piece of paper I gave hobos a quarter to hold signs with the names of the schools in the tournament. That year I picked all 65 teams to lose. Best $16.25 I ever spent.
