With Leather’s Watch This: A Thursday Night Football Game That Should Be Egg-celent

Word around the Interwebs today has been that the New Orleans Saints have accused Atlanta Falcons fans of egging their team bus at the Atlanta airport yesterday. I believe that’s the Big Boi-Ludacris International Airport, for those of you keeping track. If this is true – and this is a mighty accusation, Saints players – then I believe that Falcons fans should be banned by the NFL for the rest of the season. You heard me – an empty Georgia Dome for the final home games of the regular season.

You see, there’s very little wiggle room between the acts of paying your teammates to intentionally hurt an opposing player and throwing a chicken fetus at any mode of transportation. When, NFL fans, can we finally agree to end the senseless slaughter of chicken babies that could have grown up to cure cancer or run the United Nations? As humans, we are animals.

Sorry, I just wanted to feel like Skip Bayless for a second.

Thursday Night Football: New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons – 8:20 PM ET on NFL Network

I really love this rivalry. I don’t think we pay enough attention to how much these two teams hate each other. I’m happier, though, that we have an actual good Thursday night game for once. And I’m sure that the Jacksonville Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs are thrilled to be playing on days when nobody has to watch them anymore. It’s a win-win for everyone. I hope that Oxygen or BET keeps that in mind when one of those networks eventually buys the rights to TNF.

NBA: San Antonio Spurs at Miami Heat – 8 PM ET on TNT

The Spurs aren’t my pick for the most boring team in the NBA anymore because they have Stephen Jackson, and the Heat aren’t the most exciting team anymore because that has been Memphis. That said, I’ll be watching football.

NBA: Denver Nuggets at Golden State Warriors – 10:30 PM ET on TNT

I’ll still be watching football.

NCAA Football: Louisville at Rutgers – 7:30 PM ET on ESPN

The Big East (unofficial) Championship Game! Or as we’ll soon refer to it – the last Big East game ever. Here’s an unrelated GIF that I just felt like including:

TNA Impact Wrestling – 8 PM on Spike

I have no idea, so I’ll guess that Jeff Jarrett is wrestling Scott Steiner for a WalMart gift certificate.

And I’ve received a few emails from people today asking if I was recently at the airport with Kate Upton, and I can assure you that I was not. That is not me behind her, although it fooled even me for a second.
