With Leather’s Watch This: Basketball I Guess

I really hate moments like these. I’ve been complaining all season that Thursday Night Football had been terrible each week, and I even spread the gospel of the Thursday Night Football Curse, as we watched the league’s best quarterbacks put up Sanchez-esque numbers on a weekly basis. And now? No Thursday Night Football at all. Instead, we get a Saturday night game and 11 1 PM games on Sunday.

The NFL hates us, people. We may have noon and 3:30 PM bowl games on Saturday, and I can understand the reasoning behind not wanting to dick step those kids in what is the last time some of them will ever play football. But we could fit two games in on Saturday evening. We’ve done it with Monday nights before.

Stupid jerk, NFL jerkface jerks.

NBA: Oklahoma City Thunder at Minnesota Timberwolves – 7 PM ET on TNT

Now I’m no big shot NBA expert city slicker type, but I do believe that at 20-4, the Thunder are considered “good”. And I believe, through the use of my excellent math skills that I obtained through three semesters of College Algebra (as well as with the help of our astounding fact-checker), that makes the Thunder the best team in the NBA. You’re all welcome for this insight.

NBA: Miami Heat at Dallas Mavericks – 9:30 PM ET on TNT

It’s a rematch of the 2010-11 NBA Finals, except nothing like it.

NCAA Football: Poinsettia Bowl – BYU vs. San Diego State – 8 PM ET on ESPN

Make sure to tune in to watch both teams’ amazing young players, including… aw, screw it, here’s a picture of Danica Thrall.
