The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 8-6 yesterday on the powerful and hot bats of Matt Kemp and Adrian Gonzalez, but the effort didn’t come without the same old nonsense from troublemaker Yasiel Puig. The Cuban-born player continued to show that he has as little class as a Kardashian taking selfies with your President Obama at a White House music video shoot as he picked a fight with his harmless and far classier teammate Hyun-Jin Ryu. Whether or not these two have a deeper hatred of each other that we don’t know about is beyond me, but with my extensive knowledge of the wealthier areas of California and the much poorer surrounding neighborhoods and the gangs that infest them, I’m willing to bet that Puig has already signed up to be one of DeSean Jackson’s drive-by passengers.
Sorry, I wanted to try writing like Jay Mariotti for a second. I think I did pretty well, encompassing irrational hatred of so many things all in one paragraph, all with the intentions of pissing off younger readers who don’t understand that I’m just doing it for page views. Anyway, here’s a video of Puig and Ryu getting into a friendly tickle fight in the dugout. It’s pretty freaking adorable.
