I normally don’t just use the same photos as WWE.com, but I wanted to share this one with everyone because it is f**king hilarious. Full credit goes to WWE.com, obviously, and I love them for it.
Anyway, tonight on the WWE Raw open discussion thread:
Ever hear the one about a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest? Given the events of the past week, that’s looking more and more like the fate of John Cena as Extreme Rules approaches. The Champ fought hurt last Monday night suffered as a result, falling victim to The Shield in the main event of Raw. While the Cenation leader has been mum thus far on the status of his condition, another pair of title contenders has emerged and one former champion looks to exact vicious payback against those who have wronged him. Here are five things to watch out for this Monday on Raw.
Our five-point preview:
1. John Cena will respond to the challenge of his achilles heel. Is it injured now, or still only hurt? If Raw features him getting browbeaten and then actually beaten by The Shield again, I will accept either answer.
2. We’re not going to be doing THIIIIIIS … we’re going to be doing THIIIIIIIIS! (Note: Preview point #2 works a lot better if you can see what I’m doing with my fingers.)
3. From WWE’s preview:
It’s been a couple of weeks since we heard from either Triple H or Brock Lesnar as their Steel Cage Match approaches at Extreme Rules. As anyone can tell you, this is probably not a good thing.
Nope, not ANYone!
4. Antonio Cesaro had a hard-fought loss to Alberto Del Rio last week and a hard-fought loss to Kofi Kingston on Main Event. The WWE preview is building this up as “newfound anger” and is doing the “what will Cesaro do on Raw?” thing, so I hope it’s something that doesn’t end in “loss.” Let him part Zack Ryder’s hair a little more!
5. Let’s predict how the Sheamus/Mark Henry feud will continue! Here’s my effort: Mark Henry shows up to help children learn to read at one of those WWE Reading Challenge things. He teaches two kids to read, but Sheamus shows up (shirtless) and announces that unless Henry can teach a third child to read, he’s a fat coward. Henry tries to teach a third kid to read, but just as the kid is pronouncing “hap-py,” Sheamus hits Henry in the back of the head with a pipe. All the children cheer.
