WWE Raw results:
1. WWE Champion Randy Orton defeated Brad Maddox. To punish the Maddox and Vickie Guerrero for what happened on last week’s Raw, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon put them into matches against Orton and AJ Lee, respectively. Orton won via ref stoppage after repeatedly hitting Maddox in the face with a microphone. After the match, Maddox was stretchered off to a local medical facility.
2. Intercontinental Championship Match: Big E Langston defeated Curtis Axel (c) to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Langston pinned Axel after a Big Ending to become the new champ.
– A game of musical chairs was had.
3. Big Show defeated Ryback. Ryback got Show up for the Shell Shocked and connected, but Show kicked out at two. Ryback walked into a KO punch for the pinfall loss.
4. The Real Americans defeated Kofi Kingston and The Miz. Swagger got the submission win for his team with the Patriot Lock moments after Miz refused a tag from Kingston and walked out on the match.
5. Divas Champion AJ Lee defeated Vickie Guerrero. Lots of stalling before, during and after the match. AJ won quickly by submission with the Black Widow.
6. Dolph Ziggler defeated Damien Sandow. This was a “Broadway Brawl,” aka a street fight with a bunch of musical instruments in the ring. Ziggler won after hitting Sandow with a pair of drums and then bashing him over the head with a guitar, Jeff Jarrett-style.
7. R-Truth and Xavier Woods defeated 3MB. The members of 3MB were dressed in country-western clothing and calling themselves the “Rhinestone Cowboys.” This was Xavier Woods’ debut on Raw. He got the win for his team after “Lost in the Woods,” an inverted stomp facebreaker, aka Gail Kim (or Chuck Taylor’s) finisher.
– A Florida Georgia Line musical performance was had.
8. Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, The Usos, Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeated The Shield and the Wyatt Family. Punk got the win in a long match after a Go To Sleep on Dean Ambrose. After the match the Real Americans attacked, and a returning Rey Mysterio made the save.
