WWE Raw Results 4/7/14

WrestleMania 30 went down on Sunday, and now we’ve got quick and dirty, editorial-free WWE Raw results for the post-Mania episode, April 7, 2014. WWE Raw results:

– The show began with Daniel Bryan celebrating his WWE World Heavyweight Championship win at WrestleMania 30. He was interrupted by Triple H, who made a championship match between himself and Bryan as tonight’s main event.

1. The Wyatt Family defeated John Cena, Sheamus and Big E. Bray Wyatt hit Sister Abigail on Big E to win the match for his team.

2. Santino Marella and Emma defeated Summer Rae and Fandango. Emma won a quick match for her team via submission with an Emma Lock on Summer.

– Paul Heyman cut a long in-ring promo putting over Brock Lesnar for breaking The Undertaker’s 21-0 streak at WrestleMania.

3. WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos (c) vs. Randy Orton and Batista went to double count-out. Orton and Batista brutalized the Usos on the outside, beating them down and drawing a double count-out.

– NXT’s Adam Rose had a preview vignette.

4. Rob Van Dam defeated Damien Sandow. This was RVD’s return to Raw. Van Dam won with a five star frog splash.

5. Bad News Barrett defeated Rey Mysterio. Barrett won with a Bullhammer elbow.

6. Alexander Rusev defeated Zack Ryder. This was Rusev’s official Raw debut. He won easily by submission with The Accolade, his camel clutch finisher.

– The Ultimate Warrior spoke, and was The Ultimate Warrior.

– AJ Lee delivered a promo about how she was unbeatable. She was interrupted by NXT’s Women’s Champion Paige, which led to a match between the two.

7. WWE Divas Championship Match: Paige defeated AJ Lee (c) to become the new Divas Champion. In a shocking Raw debut for Paige, she pinned AJ Lee with the Paige Turner, a lightning spiral.

– NXT’s Bo Dallas also had a preview vignette. It’s NXT day on Raw today.

– Cesaro and Zeb Colter came to the ring to celebrate Cesaro’s victory in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania. Cesaro revealed that he was ditching Colter and signing with Paul Heyman. An angry Jack Swagger attacked Cesaro and broke the Andre the Giant trophy.

8. Cesaro defeated Jack Swagger. Cesaro won the match when Jack Swagger took an on-purpose count-out.

– The main event of Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H never happened. Before the match, Batista, Randy Orton and Kane all beat down Bryan, leaving him prone for Triple H. The Shield interfered on Bryan’s behalf, running off Triple H’s supporters. That left Triple H alone in the ring with The Shield, which allowed Bryan to take him out with a running knee. The show went off the air with Bryan and The Shield celebrating in the ring.
