In case you somehow missed it, Brock Lesnar was flagged on Friday for a potential out-of-competition doping violation collected by the USADA on June 28th ahead of his victory over Mark Hunt at UFC 200.
Since then, we’ve heard from Hunt, who naturally took The Beast Incarnate to task for the failed test and requested half of Lesnar’s purse from the UFC or else he would ask for his release. We also have learned that Lesnar actually passed multiple tests before his one failure, so there very well may be more to this story yet.
As it stands now though, it’s a big blow to Lesnar’s mystique as well as his ability to go back to UFC anytime soon should he be interested in that. It’s unclear how it would effect his WWE status, but one would imagine on the heels of Roman Reigns’ suspension that Vince McMahon isn’t exactly thrilled with the latest development.
