The Smoking Section Crew is all about giving the music sent our way a clean eardrum whether it's a review or a quick music post we throw up. With new music becoming more and more commonplace, the proper digestion period has become a thing of the past. Odd Future's Tyler, The Creator has a unique situation considering the fact that, exactly a year ago, he was releasing free music like the rest of contemporaries. And now, thanks in part to excessive publicity, he has an album--Goblin--in stores while many of those aforementioned contemporaries do not.
But is it the actual music or just the newfound media darling's hijinks that is hogging the spotlight?
Well as a crew, we put that question to the test by listening and then stopping to listen some more. The end result waged one of our usual roundtable discussions and like we've done several times before, we decided to let the readers in on the exclusive debate to see how Goblin's rating was spawned.
