NBA Draft Rumors: Another Reason Why Twitter Is Destroying The World

By | 9 Comments

Last week, I was giddy like a school girl when I saw that Jack McBrayer, AKA Kenneth from my favorite show, “30 Rock”, was following me on Twitter, because as someone who watches roughly 4-6 episodes of “30 Rock” each day, that would be pretty cool.

I’m a big sucker for fan art – well, appropriate fan art – and that’s why I’ve been pounding my desk all morning over the news that the world’s biggest patent troll is going after Etsy’s new $40 million investment.

It All Comes Down To This: Grizzlies Vs. Thunder, Game 7

By | 16 Comments

The OKC-Memphis series originally presented itself as a stopping point, the Thunder one step removed from reaching the Western Conference Finals and achieving destiny. Instead, the Grizzlies showed up and, by playing completely above their heads, have turned it into a slugfest upstaging most other series. It's been great to watch but comes to an end today in a winner-takes-all affair, with the loser can begin making calls to travel agents. Game 7 moves the series back to Oklahoma City, where the Thunder's odds are a little better after having won two of the three series games there and Memphis will be playing with that knowledge that no eighth seed has ever won a Game 7. Kevin Garnett: “Many Things Are Probable”

By | 4 Comments

Through aggressive shirt touseling and a series of screams, Kevin Garnett made it clear to Green Street that the Celtics are ready to hoist the black flag and begin slitting throats, and that he is Boston's blackest and greenest Mark Messier.

Charlie Villanueva Is A Snitch

By | 41 Comments

The headlines read "Kevin Garnett Called Charlie Villanueva A Cancer Patient." I'd rather you hone in my title instead. Sure, now that the off-color comment has hit the national media, it paints KG as an insensitive, immoral asshole but the context given was trash talk. Off-the-record, on-the-court, unadulterated trash talk. It has been around since the days of peach baskets and will be around long after they make hologram ones. Charlie V. is one of the NBA's avid Twitter users; infamously making headlines for Tweeting from the locker room so his candidness isn't surprising.

TSS 2010 NBA Playoff Preview: The First Round – Part One

For all the flack that LeBron received about sitting out a few meaningless late regular season games, it looks like a couple of other teams may been wise to follow his lead.
