Did you watch the Tonys last night.
Hold the phone here, we are talking about the actor-injuring, Taymor-firing, overhyped, underwritten, totally revamped, heavily mocked Broadway show we've been ripping on for months, right.

South Park dudes Trey Parker And Matt Stone went on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to talk about the amazing nine Tony Awards they won for Book of Mormon (including best musical).
One thing we haven't noted in our coverage of this Clone Saga-grade turkey is the irony that the show hasn't officially opened yet.

They think it's like canine feces.
That image of Spidey seemingly getting ready to bitchslap somebody with his webshooter is from the Japanese Spider-Man TV show, the most ill-conceived attempt to bring Spidey to a different medium until "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" came along.
There are many, many reasons to hate "Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.

Gamma Squad's been covering this slow-motion train wreck for four months now and there's no sign the train, despite having derailed, flipped, exploded, rammed through a children's hospital on Pet a Happy Puppy Day, exploded and derailed again, somehow, is going to stop rolling.
You may have already heard a new scriptwriter and a new director were hired for Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, and you may have read about Julie Taymor comparing the musical to that time she almost died in a volcano.
There's been so much written about the horribleness of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark that it's kind of hard to write anything new.
"Spider-Man: Slam Into A Wall" has been a disaster from start to finish, so much so that it's almost not fun to mock the hell out of it anymore.
