Japanese Actually Invent The Bananaphone

OK, this system is actually fairly neat, but we couldn’t resist pointing out they’re catering to the relentless Raffi tune that will invade your head and never leave. Ever.

It’s called “invoked computing” and the idea is that instead of hauling around an object like a smartphone that you have to learn to use, you make a gesture or pick up an object, and the projection system they’ve designed does the rest. It turns a pizza box into a laptop and…well, you know what it turns into a phone.

Our only question is what happens when you’re in somebody else’s house, and also how it’ll project a useful keyboard. Also, will the gestures apply to Web porn, because we can see that causing some serious problems.
