Is Mark Zuckerberg’s Sister A Monster Or Merely The Queen Of Delicious Irony?

Over the Christmas holiday Randi Zuckerberg, sister of Mark, posted the photo above to Facebook showing her family reacting to Facebook’s new Poke iOS app, a photo she apparently believed would only be seen by her Facebook friends. Except, it was not, and that was “way uncool.”

Yes, because Facebook is such a tangled, convoluted mess that even people named Zuckerberg can’t seem to make sense of it, the photo popped up in the feed of someone — Vox Media Director of Marketing and Projects Callie Schweitzer — who’s friends with Randi’s sister, who then innocently posted the pic to Twitter. The following exchange then ensued…

Oh, well isn’t that special! Seriously, someone named Zuckerberg is taking issue with what becomes of content posted to Facebook. Imagine that! THE IRONY, IT IS THICK WITH THIS ONE!

But wait, she wasn’t done — Randi actually came back and played the “human decency” card a few hours later…

To recap, Randi Zuckerberg, the producer of a terrible Bravo reality series about life in Silicon Valley, is outraged that a photo she posted to a website that has made billions using other people’s photos and personal information to sell ads — a website created by her brother from which she has personally gained wealth and fame from — was shared in a way that she did not approve of without her permission. Yes, this is a terrible sh*t-slice of human suffering. And welcome to the club, darling.

Randi Zuckerberg is either the least self-aware person on the planet or a total goddamn monster. There is no other way to explain this.
