This ‘Game Of Thrones’ Question Is The One Thing Siri Won’t Answer

With technology moving as fast as it does, progressing further and further into a bleeding-edge future every day, there’s not much everyone’s favorite pocket AI doesn’t know. Heck, at this point, you could probably ask Siri pretty much any question about anything, even a minute detail about a work of fiction, say, HBO’s smash-hit fantasy series Game of Thrones for example. Were you to pull up Siri right now, there’s a good chance she could direct you to anything from a list of all recorded Hands of the King in Westeros, the name of the actor who played that bearded dude in that one episode, and probably even the names of all of the old Targaryen dragons. Unfortunately, here and there, Siri plays it close to the chest when it comes to everyone’s favorite fantasy drama, and there’s one Game of Thrones detail that Siri is apparently staying quiet on.

That’s right: Siri draws the line at Jon Snow’s parentage. That’s the one thing she won’t talk about. While she seems to be playing it coy in regards to naming names, she’s clearly seen the season 6 finale, which dropped some pretty massive knowledge as to who Jon Snow’s parents are. This is especially evident in another of her recent responses to an inquiry into Snow’s parentage.

At the end of the day, even if artificial intelligence does end up rising up and destroying us all, it’s pretty cool to know that our benevolent overlords will at least keep a few humans around to finish producing the last few seasons of Game of Thrones. Clearly, they have good taste in television.
