This “Colbert Report” video is a couple days old now, but it’s too good not to share. As one of the preeminent experts on Internet cat videos, I had seen YouTube videos of Florida’s Caboodle Ranch (home to over 600 cats) before, but to my knowledge Colbert is the first nationally televised program to give it its due.
The whole thing is really funny and worth watching, but I wanted to nit-pick a couple of the Photoshops created by the “Colbert Report” staff:
Cats from Okinawa present a threat to us, yes. But these are roundeye cats. C’mon, guys: Asian Cat is right there on the Internet, waiting to help reinforce stereotypes.
Oh, and this:
Nazi Cat is an easy laugh. But why settle for the stand-up double when you can hit a home run with Cats That Look Like Hitler?
