Community (NBC) — Lately I’ve turned Thursdays into an “Archer” lovefest, but it’s time that “Community” got some of my attention. Tonight’s episode is a twist on the flashback/clip show which features a staggering 78 new scenes. That sounds like too many for a 22-minute episode, but both the cast and critics are all abuzz about it on Twitter. Should be a good one.
Archer (FX) — Season finale. SEASON FINALE?!?!?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!1!! Oh dear Jesus, I’m going into withdrawal already. And now I remember why I’ve seen “Skytanic” approximately eight times: I’ll watch the sh*t out of any and all “Archer” reruns between seasons.
The Office / 30 Rock (NBC) — It’s Steve Carell’s second-to-last appearance on “The Office,” while tonight’s “30 Rock” is the show’s 100th episode. I can’t quite put my finger on what I don’t like about “30 Rock” this season — I think it’s a little stagnant. Almost none of the characters ever change, so the angles on the jokes never change. “Oh, Liz Lemon still likes eating cheese and wearing pajamas! Good one!”
The Bear Whisperer (Animal Planet) — Season finale. Anyone been watching this? Nope, me neither.
Real Housewives of NYC (Bravo) — It genuinely bothers me that people would watch this instead of the other programming on Thursdays. I mean, I get the appeal of “American Idol,” but the fact that people choose poorly orchestrated drama between unattractive rich people instead of some of the best comedy on television… well, those people aren’t invited to play in my sandbox.
SITE NEWS: Because I’m such a devout Christian, I’ll be observing Good Friday tomorrow with a reduced number of posts. And before anyone goes into hysterics: relax, you’re still getting Corgi Friday. Assuming I can find a picture of a corgi nailed to a cross.
