Although cable television has done a lot to break down the old broadcast network calendar that filled the summer airwaves with nothing but reruns, the hottest months still have the weakest television shows (see: “True Blood,” breakout summer hit). But this summer looks more promising than most. Not only does the long-awaited Season 4 of “Breaking Bad” finally arrive in July, but we also get new episodes of FX’s “Louie” starting June 23rd.
There’s a new promo for Season 2 of “Louie” embedded below, and — much like the show itself — there isn’t much pizzazz to it (I think the scene is lit with ambient light). But it’s still enough to get me excited. Just four weeks! This might be the first time I’ve ever looked forward to learning more about someone who’s constantly miserable.
