In case you missed the earlier installments of Joann (the Real Housewife of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn), now’s your chance to get caught up to speed. Joann’s back with a new rant for Fox New York (video below), and let’s just say that she’s not terribly fond of the self-checkout machines at the grocery store. It’s kind of amazing to see her frustration at an automated voice expand into a paranoid fear of machines, then contract back to concern for young people who won’t get checkout jobs. It’s the kind of unhinged anti-logic that pulls me to imbalanced women like a moth to a flame. Am I turned on by Joann’s accent and excessive jewelry? Absolutely. She’s a total SILF (stereotype I’d like to fondle).
