‘I Was a Teenage Dominatrix’ + Vince Vaughn = FX Series?

Remember when the “Frat Pack” was a thing? It was a term first used by USA Today in 2004 to describe the then new group of deadpan male comedians who weren’t above telling d*ck jokes and often worked together. The cadre included Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Owen Wilson, Luke Wilson, Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, and, um, Vince Vaughn, who has fallen way behind his buddies. His last good movie came out seven years ago. In an attempt to become relevant again, he’s doing what America loves best: peddling smut.

According to Vulture:

We hear exclusively that Fox’s FX Network is partnering with Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Picture Show Productions to develop Shawna Kenney’s memoir I Was a Teenage Dominatrix.

While a cash-strapped undergrad at American University in Washington, D.C., during the early nineties, Keeney answered an ad in the local alternative paper that promised, “Get paid for being a bitch!” Soon enough, Keeney was rolling in enough greenery to make her tuition payments, courtesy of the many politicos and elected officials she was regularly flogging into submission in her dungeon. If picked up, the series will be renamed “Whipped,” because of course it will, and former “Californication” and “Gilmore Girls” co-executive producer Gina Fattore will act as showrunner. Are you thinking what I’m thinking? If it’s “Owen Wilson would make for a great early 1990s North Carolina Senator Lauch Faircloth,” then yes.
